Indonesia is a country located in Southeast Asia and Oceania. It is the world’s largest island nation, consisting of more than 17,000 islands. Indonesia is also the fourth most populous country in the world, with over 270 million people.
 
Indonesia is a diverse country, with a rich culture and history. The official language of Indonesia is Indonesian, but there are over 700 other languages spoken in the country. 1  Islam is the official religion of Indonesia, but other religions, such as Christianity, Hinduism, and Buddhism, are also practiced.
